  • Blackboard Upgrade on August 24 2017 7am-12pm EST (Wednesday, 9 August 2017)

We will be performing a Blackboard feature upgrade on Thursday, August 24, 2017. This upgrade will occur from 7:00 am-12:00 pm EST. Blackboard will be unavailable during this time. This upgrade introduces three new, highly requested features along with a new look to Blackboard Learn:

    1. Submission Receipts: Students will get a confirmation number indicating that their assignment has been successfully submitted, and instructors can view the Submission Receipts from the Full Grade Centre -> Reports -> Student Receipts area.

    2. Drag and Drop: Files can now be “dragged and dropped” into Blackboard wherever the “hot spot” is visible.

    3. A refreshed Blackboard Collaborate(Virtual Classroom) interface.

While we anticipate the maintenance to be complete by noon on August 24, 2017. Should there be any delay, we will update the ITS HotNews at http://www.uwindsor.ca/hotnews.

For more detailed information about further features available within the upgrade, please visit our Blackboard Upgrade page at http://apps.medialab.uwindsor.ca/ctl/bbproject/updates.html.
